The District acts through people. Our Commissioners make fundamental management and policy decisions by passing bylaws and resolutions at Board meetings. They are primarily and ultimately responsible for the clinics’ policy making operations. They delegate the day-to-day management to the officers and through them to the staff.
The Board of Commissioners has five primary functions:
In carrying out these primary functions, the Board oversees the business conduct and ethical standards of the District.

Unless otherwise noted, the board meets
on the last Thursday of every month, starting at 9:00 a.m. in
the hospital conference room. Meetings are open to the public.
