History
Ferry County Memorial Hospital was established in 1945 and moved to
its present, modern facility in June of 1974. Until 1989, the
Hospital was operated by the Ferry County Hospital Association, a
private group composed of members of the community.
Ferry County Public Hospital District #1
In 1989, the community voted its support to the hospital by forming
Ferry County Hospital District #1, a public taxing district. This
tax support provides the hospital with a stable monetary base for
operations.
The public district is composed of the Ferry County Memorial Hospital (which includes a long-term care unit), the Republic Medical Clinic, Curlew Clinic, and a Rehab/Fitness Center. See Growing for the Future for exciting information on new construction, new equipment, new staff and new procedures available.
Our Mission:
"Count on Us to Care"
