Services
The hospital is a 25 bed, full service facility, including 14
long-term care beds and 2 cardiac/intensive care beds. We offer
Emergency, Obstetrics, Surgery, and General Medicine units.
Cardiology, Orthopedic specialists, and Podiatry services regularly
visit the community. The Veterans Administration mobile clinic and
Inland Imaging Mammography van come once a month.
Staff
The Nursing staff is involved in an active and ongoing program of
Continuing Education to ensure that their skills stay current. All
RNs are ACLS and TNCC certified. Several have extensive special
training in obstetrics, and neonatal and pediatric resuscitation.
Our nurses are truly rural nurses, having the opportunity of
delivering a baby, caring for a neighbor in cardiac care, adjusting
IV therapy for a pneumonia patient in an acute care bed, assisting
one of our elderly community members who resides in our LTC unit,
and stabilizing a victim of a MVA in our ER, all in the same day.
What a great place to practice nursing!
